What is a Kronos device? ›

Kronos from Home (i.e. desktop, laptop, web browser on mobile, etc): To access Kronos from home, you'll need to copy and paste the following URL into your browser: https://kronos-mobile.upstate.edu/wfc/logon.

Open the App Store on your device. Search for Kronos Mobile app, and click the GET, FREE or INSTALL button to begin downloading the app. If prompted, tap Allow to have Kronos send you notifications. Tap Log On.

The user name and password for Kronos is your MNPS user name and password. Once you are logged into Kronos you will see the screen below. On this screen you can Record a Timestamp,Request Time Off, or go to your timecard. From the Related Items pane select My Timecard.

You may access Kronos by going to the CobbWeb and clicking on the Kronos link. Your User Name is your employee ID/KRONOS badge number. The default password is setpass. (The default password is all one word in lowercase letters.)

Errors Accessing Kronos

If you are unable to access the Kronos app and get an error, it may be because only certain staff members are granted access. If you get an error message that your account is locked after too many unsuccessful login attempts, please submit a help request.

Most employees can retrieve their employee id# in Kronos within the Name & ID fields on the TIME STAMP page. Employees can also contact their Department HR Liaison.
